Provost Umphrey Law Firm announces the resolution of a wrongful death lawsuit filed on behalf of Tiffani McInnis, the surviving daughter of Kimberly Langwell, against Terry Lee Rose, Sr.
The civil case has now been resolved through a settlement. The judgment awards Ms. McInnis all assets of the defendant that may be lawfully pursued and collected, including property, the defendant’s homestead, and all owned vehicles. In addition, the court imposed a prohibition preventing the defendant from profiting in any manner from the death of Ms. Langwell, including through memoirs, films, television productions, interviews, or any other related commercial endeavors. Any proceeds derived from such activities are ordered to belong to Ms. McInnis.
The ruling represents a critical step in a decades-long pursuit of justice following the disappearance and murder of Kimberly Langwell, which left a lasting and profound impact on her family and community for more than 25 years.
